Heh. Aqua Land. Sounds like some part of your memory may have been thinking of Aquaman.
And I would say that submotage is a variation of "sabotage". But maybe you were thinking that by adding the "sub", it was being done in a more sneaky and unseen way. Kinda works, actually.

And "submatoge" is a combo of sabotage and one other word.....
God's probably thinking, "I wired her brain to remember things this way, for my own entertainment! This is hilarious!"
