And I always used to be such a night owl. I guess it was training for my mommy days...at least I'm not too upset when the kids wake up too early!

And Rob...that's a great idea to think about it being noon in Paris. Tomorrow morning, I think I'll imagine people going to lunch in Paris so I'll feel like I'm missing something if I don't go ahead and get up. :)Susannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09264393130711805218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354172197004069242.post-33683187219385952152007-04-23T14:39:00.000-06:002007-04-23T14:39:00.000-06:00Euphrony, when I first read your comment and the w...Euphrony, when I first read your comment and the word, "bellyaching", I read it like

bell-YACH-ing (the "ch" being soft like in German)

I thought it was some Yiddish term I should know about.FancyPantshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00051762758211575101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354172197004069242.post-5732679145566245452007-04-23T14:34:00.000-06:002007-04-23T14:34:00.000-06:00You hear that, Cach? You're so dead. They had probably planned it out beforehand, they swooped in so quickly and made the grab, and had run off so quickly into the large crowd that finding them became impossible.

Aside from being a little shaken up (and being out two new concert shirts), the young couple seemed to be fine. They stayed and talked with us a few minutes, and the girl kept saying "That's okay, bad Karma is going to get them." She seemed really confident about it, and didn't seem too terribly bothered at what she had just been through.

Afterwards as we were riding home, the guys I was with were discussing what the girl kept saying. One of them said "I was wondering the whole time who Bad Carmen was, and how he was going to get these guys," and we had to explain to him the whole idea of Karma and what the girl was really saying and what she meant by that expression.

Kind of a dumb story, but every time I hear the expression "bad Karma", I think of it. Bad Carmen is going to get you.Chaotic Hammerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17713799579650424883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354172197004069242.post-64845919229296889542007-04-23T10:53:00.000-06:002007-04-23T10:53:00.000-06:00You sinner!
